Norwich City FC - 2026/27 Preview and Predictions
Reviewing 2025/26
Every season in recent memory, I've either expected the Canaries to be in with a shout of promotion from the Championship or likely to go back down from the Prem. This season was no different and I tipped them to finish 7th. On Christmas day, they sat 23rd and in real danger of visiting the third tier for the first time in sixteen years.
Thankfully for all involved at Carrow Rd, Phillipe Clement arrived to take over as manager and they pulled themselves together after that, winning fifteen of their remaining games, coming to rest in 9th position.
Looking ahead to 2026/27
The Canaries were inside the relegation zone when Clement took over at Carrow Road last November. If they could carry that form into 26/27 then the sky really is the limit.
It's a tad disappointing to see the lack of transfer activity at the club at the time of writing. Sam Field joins for £1.75m from QPR, along with Bruno Alves on loan from Cruzeiro and Andre Brooks from Sheffield United. They're lacking a Josh Sargant replacement in my eyes but it didn't affect them last season.
Court Offside Tip

After they way they finished last seaosn I was shocked not to see them up there with the next level of favorites for the title. Evens on a top 7 finish as a result more than piqued my interest and if the bookies want to double my money for me, who am I to stop them.
