Bromley FC - 2026/27 Preview and Predictions

Reviewing 2025/26

Mid-table after 12 weeks of the season, it's fair to say that nobody predicted the run Bromley were about to go on, winning 11 of the next 12 games and finding themselves top of the table.

Starting the season as 50/1 outsiders for the title, The Ravens didn't flinch and only spent one game week in second place from then to the end of the season. A truly remarkable season from all involved at Hayes Lane and in Andy Woodman, they have a very safe pair of hands at the wheel.

Looking ahead to 2026/27

Could they cause a shock in back to back seasons? What would define a shock? Most early predictions have them as one of the favourites for relegation. And it could be a real struggle. But they've built a strong base and the additions of Jacob Mendy and in particular Victor Adeboyejo, can only help to strengthen their efforts to stay in the division.

Andy Woodman is an experienced technician and seeing that 23 year old Kamil Conteh has arrived from Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed fee shows that he knows what he's looking for. Conteh is a strong combative midfielder and will no doubt fit in very nicely into the South London side.

Court Offside Tip

Really swimming against the tide with this prediction. I have Bromley to finish 15th, whilst the bookies have them as comfortable favourites to go straight back down. The thing is, it's not the strongest division and they're chocked full of tall and strong, combative players. They're 5/2 to be the top London club in the division which only pits them up against Leyton Orient and AFC Wimbledon. That's a bet I can get on board with.
